The new Miss Universe Dominican Republic 2012 is Carlina Duran (25) who competed as Miss La Vega. She stands 1.82m tall and will represent her country at the next Miss Universe Pageant. The runner-up was Miss Distrito Nacional, Dulcita Lieggi, while Caroline Hawa, Miss Santiago, finished in third place. The third runner-up was Alondra Pena who represented Peravia, and the fourth runner-up was Luz Quezada, who represented San Jose de Ocoa.
She's from the Dominican Republic so she will show up fierce and ready but I find her features very harsh. They should try to soften her look. So far I am not a fan but I've heard that's she's burns a stage up so I won't be surprised if she makes the cut at Universe.
