Vanessa Williams is the new Miss Sierra Leone 2012. She was officially presented by the Minister of Tourism and Culture, Victoria Saidu Kamara on February 28, 2012. Williams will represent Sierra Leone in Miss World 2012 in Ordos, Inner Mongolia on August 18. Vanessa, in collaboration with the United Nations Fund for Population Activities is establishing vital projects for combating obstetric fistula and maternal mortality which is among the issues of health that are a concern to the country.
